Lake Travis Youth Association (LTYA) Baseball and Softball is a recreational youth sports organization that emphasizes participation over competition, and education over performance. We strive to ensure that all participants, regardless of skill level, have the opportunity to play and we expect managers, coaches, and parents to maintain a safe, positive, and nourishing environment.
Lake Travis Softball is currently affiliated with PONY (Protect Our Nation's Youth - www.pony.org ) and is governed by its rules and procedures. It's all for the kids!
LTYA Baseball and Softball receives no city or government funding and relies entirely on the effort of volunteers and funding from registrations, facility fees, sponsorships, and donations. Lake Travis Recreational Softball Program:
- Intent is to maintain a heavy focus on developing fundamentals while stressing a competitive yet fun environment.
- Two practices per week prior to first game.
- One 90-minute practice and one to two games per week, once the season starts.
- Total of 13-15 games.
- Games are held during the week and on weekends.
- Lake Travis interlocks with surrounding leagues so travel will be required for games not held at Field of Dreams. Typical travel time should not exceed 45 minutes. All efforts will be made to minimize week night travel.
- All Rec Players are eligible for post season PONY All Stars.

Lake Travis Softball Seasons:
Fall Softball Season
- Early registration runs May 1 to May 31.
- Regular registration opens August 1.
- Season runs from early September to mid-November.
- Picture day will be September 20.
- Atmosphere tends to be more instructional but remains competitive.
Fall Softball Clinic Series
- LT Softball will offer a series of clinics that focus on various softball fundamentals. These clinics will be held on Sunday afternoons during the months of September and October, and will take place at the Field of Dreams #3.
- Details for additional clinics will be posted as they become available.
Spring Softball Season
- Registration opens January 15
- Season runs from mid February to early June
- Atmosphere tends to be more competitive
