Lake Travis Competitive Basketball offers an opportunity for your player to be a part of a more competitive environment that allows them to get more out of their basketball skills. Your player will have the opportunity to play tournaments in the Central Texas area enabling them to experience competition outside of our community. They will practice two days a week with a highly experienced coach who will work with them on team concepts, offense, defense and higher level fundamentals.
Competitive teams require a greater level of commitment from both players and parents. Practices will be held at least 2 nights per week, and multiple games may be played on weekends. While program registration fees for the Competitive team are the same as Recreational fees, Competitive team members pay additional coaching, uniform, and tournament entry fees. During the initial registration process you will be asked to pay only program registration fees. If your child is selected to participate in the Competitive program, the additional fees will be billed through your LTYA registration account and are payable prior to the first practice. Historically, these additional fees have been approximately $900, but are subject to change.
