NEW THIS SEASON--SPONSOR YOUR CHILD'S TEAM! Please review our LTYA Basketball Sponsorship/Donation form for complete information and the opportunity to see your business name on your child's team jersey.
Team rosters were sent out on Saturday, November 8. If you did not receive one in your regular or spam/junk folder, you can view and print your child's team roster through your LTYA registration account. Just go to our home page at www.ltya.org and click on the "My Account" link on the upper right. After you enter your username and password, you will be able to access your child's team website. Questions may be directed to our registrar at info@ltya.org.

Recreational Basketball
- offered to boys and girls in kindergarten through grade 6
- season consists of two events per week--one practice and one game
- registration for 2008-9 season runs September 8 through 27 with NO LATE registration available
- season runs from 11/17 through 2/28
- NEW THIS SEASON: Each age group in grades 3 through 6 will be divided into 2 competitive divisions, Rec and RecPlus, so players will be required to attend one of 2 skills evaluation sessions.. Any player who does not attend one ot the scheduled skills evalustions will not be eligible to participate and his/her registration fees will be refunded.
- pre-season skills evaluation is required:
- for every player in grades 3 through 6
- for players in grades 1 and 2 who did not play LTYA basketball last year
- We are offering 2 skills evaluation sessions at West Ridge Middle School--specific times for each age group appear below.
Competitive Basketball (formerly "Select Basketball")
- offered to boys and girls in grades 5 and 6
- players must qualify through an evaluation process and should plan to attend try-outs (refer to Competitive Basketball Information page for details)
- interested players should register for the appropriate age group in Recreational Basketball--we will move qualified players over the Competitive program and send a bill for any difference in fees
- weekly events vary, but will consist of at least 2 practices per week and several games on Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays
