GENERAL POLICIES
  • The following are not permitted on the premises of any LTYA event, regardless of whether the event takes place on property owned/leased by LTYA or on property owned by another organization which is acting as host to an LTYA team:
  1. Pets of any kind (with the exception of service dogs)
  2. Firearms or weapons of any kind
  3. Smoking or chewing tobacco
  4. Alcoholic beverages
  5. Profanity, obscenities, or other offensive behaviours
  • The Lake Travis Youth Association is committed to providing a positive sports participation opportunity to every child that registers for one of our programs. To that end, we have established a Code of Conduct outlining how both players and their parent spectators/coaches are expected to conduct themselves.
  • If you feel that a player, parent, coach, or spectator has violated some aspect of the Code of Conduct and wish to file a complaint, please review our LTYA Complaint Handling Guidelines.

 


 

BACKGROUND CHECK POLICY
  • LTYA places the highest priority on ensuring the safety of our young participants, and we consider it both an honor and a privilege to be permitted to coach our youth.
  • LTYA will require a criminal background check of any individual wishing to coach or assistant coach a team.  Coaches who have successfully completed the background check process will be issed badges that are to be displayyed during games.
  • Please review our Background Check Guidelines for a list of offenses that are screened for.  In accordance with National Pop Warner policy, we adhere to the criterion offense guidelines recommended by the National Coucil for Youth Sports.
  • Background checks are valid for a period of 2 years.
